Final $3,822 check in April for certain group only

The last of the Social Security payments for Disability beneficiaries in the United States is very close to arriving in beneficiaries’ bank accounts. Keeping in mind that after this payment there will be no more payments in April, it may be wise to check your eligibility.

This is especially so if we still do not have the payment available in our pocket. The Social Security Administration has already sent out three different checks for Disability in the month of April. If we are not among the beneficiaries in the last group, we should claim the payment soon.

Which Social Security Disability beneficiaries get the last April payment?

The new Social Security Disability check will arrive on April 24th for retirees in group 4. This group is the last group to get a check from the Administration for the entire month. They are usually the last to collect a check each month, but this does not mean that they are at a disadvantage with respect to the rest of the groups.

To collect this new benefit, we simply have to meet two requirements. The first of these requirements is to have a Social Security check after May 1997. The second requirement is to have a birthday between the 21st and 31st of any month. This is the only way to become a Group 4 beneficiary and get the April 24th Disability payment.

How do I get my Disability payment as soon as possible?

The Social Security payment schedule only indicates the days on which the Administration sends these checks. Whether or not you receive these payments on the same day they are mailed depends on the collection method you have activated. Even if we belong to group 4 retirees, if we do not activate Direct Deposit we will not be able to get the last of the checks on that day.

Therefore, if we want to collect the benefit on April 24th, 2024, we will have to activate Direct Deposit. If we don’t activate it, we will still get the money, just a few days later. The payment would arrive about three days after the remittance.

This collection method is just as effective for all Social Security checks. So whether you have one benefit or the other doesn’t matter, since the Disability payment arrives sooner with Direct Deposit, as does the monthly Supplemental Security Income (SSI).
