The Last Ronin Outsells Popular Manga Books

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin has scored second place on Circana BookScan’s Top 20 Adult Graphic Novels for 2023.

TMNT: The Last Ronin‘s sales are an impressive accomplishment in a list that is primarily dominated by manga titles. Circana BookScan is considered the gold standard for graphic novel sales information, with ICv2 recently providing the complete sales rankings for 2023, where TMNT: The Last Ronin snagged its high spot on the list. The collected hardcover for the series was second only to Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba, Vol. 1 and beat out some of the most popular manga titles, including Chainsaw Man, Spy x Family and Jujutsu Kaisen. The graphic novel went on sale in 2022 with a cover price almost double most manga trade paperbacks, making the sales figures an even bigger accomplishment for the series. TMNT: The Last Ronin was written by Kevin Eastman, Peter Laird and Tom Waltz and was released by IDW Publishing.
