Customers say this one of many issues
Some customers have alleged to have issues with their bank balances ahead of this outage.
“I’m in texas mine is done since about 11pm last night. To make matters worse my account was mysteriously overdrawn by $500 when I was positive $250 go begin with. I’ve literally had this account for 2 weeks ! I’m so gagged in wtf,” shared one user.
“Someone hacked my PNC account last week and stole almost 3 grand and they’re accusing me of doing it. They haven’t given me my money back yet and I am unable to pay certain bills including rent,” claimed another.
“I’ve lost all faith and confidence in this bank and this situation does not help. As soon as the situation is straight regarding my stolen money I will definitely be closing my accounts.”
Customer stands up for bank as issue seems to be resolved
As log in issue and online banking reports have continued to decrease to under 100, one customer has defended PNC on Down Detector.
“I have been with PNC for well over 20 years, and have had very little problems outside of some minor annoyances connecting pnc to other online accounts. They have always been pretty good in my book, and never had an issue with miscalculation,” they wrote.
“I have had my credit car compromised, and they were good in taking care of it. Wanted to share this because PNC has been good for my family.
Customers threatening to switch
Fed up with the bank’s response, customers are threatening to switch banks come the next business day.
“First thing Monday I’m changing banks. I’ve had it with PNC (Personnel Never Competent) bank. The app has been down all morning, Online banking won’t verify my pin and branch managers are giving attitude because people rather call individual branches than hold forever on the customer service line,” wrote one customer.
“They play with your money at night. Check account and you have one amount then it changes to another amount minutes later and forget about trying to link to plaid,” they contiued.
“I tried banking in my community to show support but after these last 3years I’ve grown to despise this garbage bank.”
