Louisiana State Police issue Silver Alert for 70 year-old man


MONROE, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — The Louisiana State Police have issued a Silver Alert for 70-year-old Selma Lollie on behalf of the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office.

According to the news release, Lollie suffers from a medical condition that impairs his judgment and has a history of getting lost, he was last seen on June 8, 2024, at 804 S. 19th St. in Monroe.


Louisiana State Police details at approximately 11:14 a.m. a neighbor found Lollie missing.

LSP states Lollie is a black male with gray hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5’9” tall and weighs approximately 190 lbs. 

They believe Lollie is traveling on foot wearing a “pug shot” shirt (featuring a pug holding a mugshot board), gray and white checkered pajama pants, and tan shoes.

Anyone with information about Lollie’s whereabouts should immediately contact the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office at 318-329-1200 or call 911.
