Annual ‘Cruizin’ For Cancer’ helps raise funds for Brown Cancer Center
Classic car lovers came out Saturday afternoon to check out some unique automobiles while supporting a cause close to a local family. For 6 years, organizer Richard Luce has hosted the “Cruizin’ for Cancer” car show in honor of his father, who died after he was diagnosed with three types of cancer. Nearly 200 cars were on hand at the Gethsemane baptist church lot this afternoon but there were also raffles and other fundraising events. 100% of the proceeds benefit cancer research at UofL Health and the James Graham brown Cancer Center.
