Ministry of Energy, Sento Group Co sign memo of cooperation in coal industry
AKIPRESS.COM – The Ministry of Energy, Kyrgyzstan-Kagoshima Friendship Association and Japan’s SENTO GROUP Co. signed a trilateral memorandum on cooperation in coal industry on January 11, the Ministry of Energy reported.
The document was signed by Minister of Energy Talaibek Ibraev, Director of Kyrgyzstan-Kagoshima Friendship Association Ono Sumiyosu and CEO of SENTO GROUP Co., Ltd Kurenuma Sintaro.
The given memorandum was signed following the talks on development of cooperation between two countries during visit of President Sadyr Japarov to Japan from November 17-20.
The goal of the memorandum is cooperation in coal industry, exploration of coal deposits, extraction of coal, construction of coal enrichment plant and creation of the logistical center.
The Japanese side expressed interest in cooperation in hydropower sector in Kyrgyzstan.
