Byway has released three new multi-country European Christmas market trips travelling by train for the festive season.

Clients can soak up the festivities at markets across Europe
The six-day Prague Christmas markets trip takes in festive markets in Prague, Berlin and Cologne, travelling by sleeper train between 2-26 December.
The central European Christmas markets tour spans 12 days by sleeper train, staying in Cologne, Munich, Budapest, Prague, Krakow, Berlin and Brussels. Clients can travel between 2-23 December.
On the five-day north European Christmas markets trip, clients explore Christmas markets in three destinations between 13-26 December. It includes Berlin’s many Christmas markets, Brussels’ Christmas market, and the glittering Ice village in Amsterdam.
A Byway spokesperson said: “With the environmental impact of Christmas being notoriously high and the busiest time of year to travel – according to UK Aviation News, flights over the festive period from the UK in 2022 were 49% higher than in the previous period – more and more people are looking at planet-friendly ways to enjoy the festive season without increasing their carbon footprint.”
