TALLAHASSEE – The Tallahassee Museum presents the 57th Annual Market Days arts and crafts show at the North Florida Fairgrounds.

The Tallahassee Museum’s 57th Annual Market Days, one of the Southeast’s largest and best juried arts and crafts shows, held Dec. 2 and 3, 2023, at the North Florida Fairgrounds is the perfect time to get out,
explore and shop artisan goods. Market Days offers a beautiful array of works in various price ranges, from breathtaking fine art to charming stocking stuffers while benefiting a great cause. Proceeds from the 57th annual Market Days support the Tallahassee Museum’s education and preservation activities.

As one of the largest and finest arts and crafts shows in the Southeastern United States attended by more than 20,000 people, Market Days provides the shopper exceptional must-haves for the home, closet, gifts for teachers, friends and more. Inclusive of everything from fine art, ceramics, country furniture, stained glass, woodwork, glasswork, dolls, clocks, pottery, jewelry, sculpture, metalwork, clothing, photography,
and calligraphy. Meet and mingle with nearly 300 artists and top-quality artisans and craftspeople.

“Market Days is widely recognized as one of the finest arts and crafts shows in the Southeast and is a treasured holiday tradition,” says Russell Daws, Tallahassee Museum President/CEO. “We are delighted to bring artisans and the community together for this wonderful Holiday tradition. Market Days is as important today as the Tallahassee Museum as it was at the first Market Days in 1965. Funds help support the Museum’s educational programs, the care of our living wildlife collection and historic buildings, subsidizes admission costs, and helps us provide the many services we deliver to our audiences within the community.”

Discerning shoppers who wish to get a head start will want to purchase one of the 1,000 limited tickets for the Early Bird Shopping extravaganza, Dec. 2, 2023 from 8-10 a.m. at the North Florida Fairgrounds. Early Bird attendees receive complimentary parking, muffins and hot coffee before perusing stress-free for two hours and enjoy first purchases on top gifts. Early Bird tickets are $30 and valid for general shopping throughout the entire event. Tickets may be purchased online or at the following Tallahassee retailers: Tallahassee Museum and My Favorite Things Tallahassee.

Amidst the flurry of gift seeking, Market Days attendees take a break to enjoy mouth- watering food from area restaurants, beer and football on the big screen in the hospitality tent and a special Children’s Arts & Crafts tent featuring goods created by junior exhibitors in grades K-12.
