SWBNO monitoring major water line break near Uptown
SWBNO says some customers in Uptown will be without water due to major water break
The Sewerage & Water Board of New Orleans said on there social media that a 30-inch water valve failed at the intersection of Upperline and S. Claiborne and will issue a boil water advisory if needed. The SWBNO said that this is the current list of residents that will be out of water:S Claiborne Ave. from Octavia to UpperlineUpperline from S Claiborne Ave. to Loyola Ave.Loyola Ave. from Soniat to UpperlineBordeaux from St Charles Ave. to S Saratoga This is the current list of resident that should be experiencing lower-than-normal water pressure. Uptown/Carrollton area, up to Lower Garden District WDSU will continue to update with more information.
