Silver Alert issued for missing man in Northwest DC
WASHINGTON — A Silver Alert has been issued for an 82-year-old man who went missing in Northwest D.C. on Thursday.
The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help finding Harry Kelly. Detectives say he was last seen in the 1300 block of Upshur Street, Northwest on Thursday at 5:45 p.m.
Kelly is described as a Black man, 5-foot-10, 140 pounds, with a bald head, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue long-sleeved shirt, grey sweatpants with a blue stripe, blue tennis shoes, and carrying a 5lb dumbbell in each hand. Investigators say he may need medication.
This case is being investigated by MPD’s Youth and Family Services Division.
