Markets are set to open on a firm note and advance further in early Monday trades given the optimism in global equities, as the uncertainty over the US debt-ceiling saga is over. Besides, the strong US nonfarm payrolls data, expectations of a rate hike pause by the US Fed, and optimism over the Chinese government introducing new stimulus measures to speed up economic recovery could further bolster the market sentiment. Technically, the confirmation of strength is seen only if Nifty breaches the 18663 mark. The make-or-break support for the index is at 18463, while support for Bank Nifty is at 43786.
