Whenever a Government changes, it is quite common that the officers in the key positions of the previous government are replaced. If an officer looked very close to the previous administration, we even see them finding their way to GAD or getting Punishment postings.
At times, the services of good officers are also overlooked considering their close proximity to the opponents.
But it seems to be not the case with Revanth Reddy.
Revanth Reddy is definitely having his own men following the traditional criteria but he is not ignoring the efficiency.
Revanth Reddy is currently in Davos attending the World Economic Forum’s Investments Summit.
He is accompanied by Jayesh Ranjan, the Principal Secretary of the Industries & Commerce (I&C) and Information Technology (IT) Departments of the Telangana government.
The 1992 IAS officer is known to be very close to the previous IT Minister K Taraka Ramarao. But at the same time, he is instrumental in bringing many investments to Telangana during the previous regime.
Considering his track record, Revanth Reddy chose to ignore his proximity with KTR and is still continuing him in the crucial position and has also taken him to the Davos Trip.
