I am a community member who is interested in supporting the leadership of ISD 181 Brainerd Schools, its Board of Directors, Teachers and administrative Staff, in particular, you, as our new Interim Superintendent. Welcome Superintendent Grant! I have been and will continue to attend Board meetings as I am able.
As you follow the exceptional leadership of Dr. Heidi Hahn, I look forward to watching you and the Board of Directors keep your eye on the ball amid possible distractions. The ball, in my opinion is the difficult task of providing challenging inspiration for all advanced students to excel while embracing all average and challenged learners with the excitement of discovery and the gift of accomplishment that inspired your own career in education. I hope you can inspire your teaching staff to provide engaging learning opportunities for their students. Pay them well and honor their exceptional efforts.
As one trained to do Intentional Interim Ministry for congregations, I wish you well as you listen, question, display the District’s challenges and opportunities in the time and with the tools you are given. Welcome and best wishes Superintendent Grant!
