Hanover-based Precision Cut Industries, a contract metal manufacturer, has named COO Shonna Sites as its first female president.

Sites will oversee all aspects of operations for the $50 million company, focusing on delivering service by driving efficiencies and technology advancements, enhancing product quality, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and value engineering for its customers, PCI said.

Sites brings over 20 years of experience in senior management leadership in the manufacturing and construction industries.

“I am deeply honored to take on the role of president at Precision Cut Industries. I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together as a team, and I am excited to lead PCI into its next chapter of growth and success,” Sites said.

Sites joined PCI in 2012 as director of Human Resources. Since then, she has moved into leadership roles, most recently serving as COO.

Sites officially took the helm of the 150-person company in January, adding to the growing number of females rising to leadership positions in the manufacturing industry across the nation, PCI said.

“Shonna is an incredible leader committed to serving our customers and developing our employees. Her contributions have directly impacted the trajectory of success for PCI, helping us to become one of the top fabricators in America,” said Brian Greenplate, CEO of PCI. “I’m excited to see the continued growth and impact of the organization under her leadership.”
