The Nebraska Public Power District asked Plattsmouth customers to conserve electricity Wednesday evening, July 5th, due to repairs needed at one of the two substations that serve the Cass County community.The request is voluntary.Around 2,000 NPPD customers lost power Wednesday afternoon due to equipment problems at the Plattsmouth West substation.
