Mike Rowe’s mystery ‘Tall Cowboy’ patron at The Silver Fox in Casper
CASPER, Wyo. — Mike Rowe, famed for his role in “Dirty Jobs,” recently dined at Casper’s popular The Silver Fox. There, he discovered a unique culinary delight: knotted bacon in Bloody Marys. Eagerly, he took to social media, proclaiming it an idea “that should be replicated far and wide.”
Yet, Rowe’s dining experience had another memorable twist. Before leaving, he learned that an anonymous diner had covered his bill.
Rowe expressed both surprise and gratitude, writing, “This was both very generous and very unnecessary.”
Who’s the Generous Stranger?
Victoria, Rowe’s server, shared that the benefactor, known to locals simply as “Tall Cowboy,” had discreetly left before being identified.
In a heartfelt social media post, Rowe reached out, sharing a photo from where the kind stranger sat and the signed receipt.
Furthermore, he added a postscript hinting at his next engagement. Tonight, Rowe graces the Ford Wyoming Center at 7 p.m., with limited tickets still up for grabs, according to a social media post by the venue.
