Ljubljana stock exchange indices rise, Luka Koper stands out


January 11 (SeeNews) – Both stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) ended up on Thursday, driven by gains in port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG], bourse data showed.

The SBITOP index, a blue-chip indicator, finished at 1,275.88 points, reflecting a 0.15% increase, while the SBITOP TR index, which accounts for dividend distribution, also recorded a 0.15% gain, closing the session at 1,715.62 points, LJSE data showed.

Luka Koper led the blue-chip gainers with a 3.88% increase in its share price, reaching 34.80 euro, in a turnover of 65,805 euro.

Pharmaceutical group Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the highest single trading turnover on the bourse on Thursday, of 692,340 euro. It won 0.89% to 113.0 euro.

Total daily regulated market turnover decreased to 1.6 million euro ($1.75 million) on Thursday from 1.9 million euro generated on Wednesday.
