A major gas main break in Clive has been stabilized.The city says a contracting firm hit a natural gas line in the 1500 block of Northwest 86th Street.The break, which interrupted electricity and gas services for many residents, was stabilized Wednesday night. MidAmerican Energy crews will excavate and repair the damaged pipe Thursday.Northwest 86th Street is open one way in each direction.
