Fergus Morrison promoted to Partner at Aeolus Capital Management


Aeolus Capital Management, a leading player in the reinsurance industry, has announced the promotion of Fergus Morrison to the esteemed position of Partner, effective immediately, pending Bermuda immigration approval.

aeolus-capital-management-logo-darkMorrison, who has been an integral part of the Aeolus team since 2018, currently serves as the Portfolio Manager in charge of underwriting and pricing property catastrophe collateralised retrocession and reinsurance limits.

With this well-deserved promotion, he is set to join the prestigious Aeolus Operating Committee, a body responsible for evaluating the performance and strategic direction of the Aeolus group, while also overseeing its daily operations.

Morrison’s career journey has been marked by significant achievements. Prior to joining Aeolus, he worked as an underwriter at Securis Investment Partners, where he played a pivotal role in the analytics team, gaining extensive experience in pricing, modeling, and underwriting collateralised reinsurance, retrocession, ILW, and cat bonds. Before that, he served as a consultant at RMS Capital Markets.
