Entergy is reporting that power has been restored for most customers in the Uptown area on Friday evening. The map is showing less than 10 people without power.Around 6 p.m., the Entergy map showed more than 11,000 customers without power near Carrollton and Audubon. Entergy told WDSU they are working on the cause of the outage: “Our investigation into the root cause of today’s outages remains ongoing; initial reports indicate damage to surge protection equipment at the Carrollton substation.”
