Dolly Parton Shines in Silver at Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame – WWD

Dolly Parton brought her signature glamorous style to the 2023 Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala on Wednesday in Nashville, opting for a full-on silver ensemble. For the occasion, which celebrated the legacy of the Nashville music community, Parton wore a strapless silver corset with matching lace-up pants. The singer added a cage-embellished soft pink bolero and glitter peep-toe pumps to her chrome outfit.

As a Tennessee native, Parton attended the gala to officially induct award-winning singer Keith Urban into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. At the event, she also posed alongside Urban and Eric Church.

Parton continues to make waves in the music industry and beyond. After being inducted into the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame in 2022, Parton released her rock-themed album “Rockstar” in November.

In addition, the singer’s new book “Behind the Seams: My Life in Rhinestone,” showcasing her fashion looks throughout her decades-long career, will be released on Tuesday.

“The stories of how my fashion came to be are just as striking — or shocking! — as my outfits themselves, if you can believe it, and I share hundreds of them inside ‘Behind the Seams: My Life in Rhinestones’. Available for preorder now,” part of Parton’s Instagram caption read in August regarding the upcoming title.

The 2023 Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala was hosted by the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Foundation, a non-profit organization that amplifies and preserves the songwriting legacy in Nashville. Along with Urban, other honorees included Casey Beathard, David Lee Murphy, Rafe Van Hoy and Kix Brooks.
