Croatian equity indices rebound, investors focus on ETFs | Croatia News
The 21-share equity benchmark, the CROBEX, added 0.07% to end at 2.902,57 points.
The narrower equity index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, rose 0.21% to close at 1,763.02 points, getting close to its all time high set on Friday.
The regular turnover reached 1.7 million euro ($1.8 million) from just 734,200 euro on Monday.
The most traded issued on Tuesday were two ETFs, InterCapital BET-TRN UCITS ETF [ZSE:7BET] and InterCapital SBITOP TR UCITS ETF [ZSE:7SLO], tracking Romanian and Slovenian stocks respectively. The units of the first one gained 0.38% to 16.03 euro in a turnover of 255,000 euro, and the units of the second one declined 0.35% to 31.55 euro in a turnover 254,000 euro.
Among the blue chips, food and pharmaceuticals manufacturer Podravka generated the biggest daily turnover, 235,000 euro, as its shares appreciated 0.61% to 165.50 euro. The company will release on Wednesday its considered unaudited financial statement for the first half of this year.
Shares of hotel owner and manager Valamar advanced 0.38% to 5.30 euro in a turnover of 158,000 euro.
Shares of ZABA closed 0.55% higher at 18.15 euro in a turnover of 132,000 euro, as the lender announced a 22% annual growth of its after-tax profit in the first six months of 2024.
Koncar’s shares increased 1.34% to 302 euro in a turnover of 123,400 euro, on the news that it signed a 57.3 million euro deal to deliver six trains to local railway company HZ Putnicki Prijevoz (HZPP).
