RUIDOSO, N.M. (KRQE) – Ruidoso officials said Zia Natural Gas crews are trying to repressurize systems in the area. The company said someone must be home to restore gas to a building and they will leave a tag with their number on the door if no one is home. You can also call Zia Natural Gas at 575-378-4277.
The village and company say not to cut the lock and turn on the gas meter as it could be dangerous.
Zia Natural Gas is working to restore natural gas to:
- West End of Upper Canyon/Main Rd from 947 Main to the west.
- Alpine Village
- Cedar Creek
- West Gavilan
- Barney Luck area
- The north end of Gavilan Canyon Road from Grace Harvest Church to Alto Cafe
Outage:
- West of Mechem (Hwy 48) from just south of West White Mountain Drive (Club Gas) north to Swiss Chalet.
