City, Spire, AZZ close to deal on $8.5m gas line | Local News


A funding agreement to cover the construction costs of an unanticipated $8.5 million high-pressure steel natural gas line to Washington’s newest industrial park is close to being approved. 

City officials say they have worked out a tentative plan to share the costs of the new pipeline with Spire Inc., the city’s natural gas supplier, and AZZ Precoat Metals, which is building a $110 million, 220,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in the Oldenburg Industrial Park.
