The City of Anderson and Electric City Utilities says they will issue a precautionary boil water advisory Tuesday, June 13. They say it will start at 8 a.m., due to a water hydrant repair and loss of pressure.The areas impacted will be Milgate Road between Concord Avenue and Lindale Road, along with Drayton Circle and Brewton Court.According to the City of Anderson and Electric City Utilities, customers are advised to boil their water vigorously for at least one minute prior to drinking, cooking, or making ice.They say they will take samples to confirm no potential contamination has occurred and will issue a repeal of the boil water advisory when testing is complete.
