BUTTE, Mont. – The Butte-Silver Bow Fire Department (BSBFD) responded to another fire at a commercial building on Thursday, May 30, 2024.

BUTTE, Mont. – A large building caught fire at the Bert Mooney Airport in Butte on Saturday night. Butte-Silver Bow Fire Department and Home Atherton Volunteer Fire Department responded to the reported fire at around 11:00 PM on Saturday, May 25, 2024, according to the Fire Department’s Facebook post.

BUTTE, Mont. – A two-story home caught fire near Kaw Avenue and Casey Street in Butte Tuesday afternoon.

Fire crews arrived to the scene of a single story commercial building with visible smoke in Uptown Butte, entered the building, and found a room and its contents on fire. They contained the fire quickly, according to the Facebook post by the department.

One person was evaluated from the premise due to possible smoke inhalation, but no one was found injured. The firefighters completed a primary search and determined the building to be clear.

As crews ventilated the building to remove smoke, they completed salvage and overhaul, finding that, thankfully, the building saw minimal damage due to the early detection and BSBFD’s fast response, according to the post.

Engines 1, 2, and 3, the BSBFD’s A Shift, responded to the incident.
