PORTLAND, ORE. — Latin-inspired, better-for-you, frozen food brand Brazi Bites is offering its Latino Entrepreneur Accelerator Program for a second year. Following the success of its first year, co-founder and chief marketing officer Junea Rocha is offering entrepreneurs a chance to win a $10,000 business grant, a 12-week-long mentorship, and aid of strategic partners across various business disciplines, including legal, public relations, creative.
Brazi Bites launched the program in September 2022 to help Latino-owned small businesses grow.
A Graduate School of Stanford Business study states Latinos have created companies faster than any other demographic in the United States but face several challenges to find success in their business, which is where Brazi Bites comes in.
“Over the last decade we have built a network of industry experts around us that has been a crucial part of building Brazi Bites,” Ms. Rocha said. “Access to credible and knowledgeable experts is often beyond the reach of early-stage entrepreneurs, yet they can offer invaluable insights in order to strategically and sustainably scale. I’m thrilled to offer this year’s Accelerator Program winner access to our incredible partners.”
In addition, three finalists will be awarded a profile feature on the company’s website with social, email and press exposure. The winner and finalists will be announced in January 2024.
Brazi Bites was founded in 2010 to bring the Pão de Queijo, a Brazilian cheese bread, to the US market. The company offers cheese bread, pizza bites, empanadas, and waffles.
