Levy said: “The work at LIA this year was excellent. As a jury, we felt good about the work from Grand Prix level all the way down to the Finalists.” He went on to say, “We did award a Grand LIA. It was almost a unanimous decision to award a Grand LIA to the Dove campaign. It was an incredible campaign in the use of social media. Everything about it – the way it was created, the emotion that it brought out, the results that it had.

Rachel McCready, Chief Creative Officer of Evoke, led the Pharma & Medical category in highlighting the very best in communications, experiences, and innovations within the highly regulated pharmaceutical and medical industry. The Pharma & Medical jury awarded a Grand LIA, eight Gold, 16 Silver, and 10 Bronze Statues, as well as two Finalists, to honor the remarkable contributions to the pharmaceutical and medical field. Grey New York was awarded the Pharma & Medical Grand LIA for work done for their client American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) titled “Most Beautiful Sound”.

McCready said: “This year we saw some incredibly impressive work across the board. Really pushing the envelope, taking innovations we’ve seen in prior years but bringing them to a new place.” She went on to say, “Don’t be afraid to bring humor to health because it helps get attention not only in the jury but in the marketplace as well.”

The Health & Wellness – Craft category, recognising excellence in execution and production value of work promoting non-pharmaceutical/non-regulated products, was chaired by Jury President Alessandra Gomes, Executive Creative Director of McCann Health Brazil.
